Screenwriting II: The Sequel
Got the critique from my professor today in Screenwriting class. My professor wrote me a review and told me to do some changes and to take some pages out.
Also, he wrote a genre for my script!
SURREALISTIC BROMANCE.
I’ve never heard of such a genre in my life and I love it.
Genres I’ve written so far:
- Drama (short)
- Horror (short)
- Pilot for half-hour comedy
- Feature-length adventure comedy/drama
- Animated short
- A comedy and a dark comedy for Theater
So I’ll pursue writing either a feature-length rom-com or a short drama next.
Or maybe Sci-fi even… it sounds fun, but I don’t have that mindset for it at all. I’ve hardly seen any science fiction films or tv shows. Hmm…
“Kerry & Clyde” Logline
“Clyde, a day-dreaming introvert and self-proclaimed solipsist with the dream of becoming a writer meets Kerry, a debauched extrovert with an ‘I don’t give a damn’ personality, in beautiful Spain which begins a EuroTrip of bro-ship, love, and prostitutes.”
This is my logline for a feature-length script I finished writing recently. I thought about it and wrote it in about 10 minutes. Sooo…

Winter Quarter Review

One of the many issues I have with myself.
I wonder how much different things would be if I had stayed with a Psychology major and powered through with it instead of switching to Film…
